The job

As our Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be at the heart of delivering scalable, reliable systems that power smarter logistics solutions across borders.

As Mover grows across new countries and continents, we’re strengthening our Platform Engineering to match our ambitious goals. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll be at the core of delivering excellent infrastructure, continuous delivery processes, and ensuring smooth, efficient production service. Think of yourself as the essential link, empowering our team to perform at its best and setting up your colleagues for success.

For this position, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to grow quickly into the role, thereby ensuring we can provide our customers and developers the service we strive towards as a company. Some examples of the tasks you could work on would be:

  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Setting up and maintaining alerting systems, responding to incidents, and performing post-incident analysis to improve reliability.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Building and improving automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and recovery processes.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Enhancing and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines for faster and more reliable software delivery.
  • System Scalability: Designing and implementing solutions to handle increasing loads and ensure system scalability and availability.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitoring resource utilization and planning for future growth to avoid downtime.
  • Security Enhancements: Implementing and maintaining secure systems and processes to protect critical data and applications.
  • System Reliability: Defining, implementing, and monitoring Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure reliable and measurable service delivery.

    What we need from you

We seek skills comparable to these but understand that talents come in many shapes and sizes:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an SRE/DevOps Engineer or related role
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in public clouds
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly organized and loves working based on data

We’ll be super interested 👀 if you have any of the following (or similar) experiences as well:

  • Experience using Azure
  • Experience Bicep domain specific language
  • Experience in dotnet apps continuous delivery

The process
