About Us

Savery is searching for a backend developer with strong capabilities in building and maintaining robust backend systems to support our core products. As a backend developer, you will be a part of our core team, focusing on developing scalable and reliable infrastructure to enable the seamless integration of AI-powered autonomous software development tools.

This is a full-time, on-location role with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. If you are unable to work on location, you will not be considered for the position.

You are a problem solver with a passion for backend development and a growth mindset. As an expert in Python, you have a deep understanding of FastAPI and experience working with managed services like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. You excel in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient database architectures, and you have a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex technical issues.

You thrive on ownership, taking the lead in designing and implementing solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will be vital in maintaining the high standards of Savery’s platform.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the technical backbone of Savery’s innovative platform. While AI expertise is not a requirement, an interest in AI and its potential to enhance modern applications is encouraged. This position offers significant opportunities for growth as we expand and scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize backend systems to power Savery’s platform.

• Develop scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud

• Design and implement efficient backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.

• Automate infrastructure deployments with Terraform.

• Collaborate on database design with a focus on performance and scalability.

• Work closely with AI engineers to integrate backend systems with AI functionalities.

• Debug and resolve technical challenges to ensure platform reliability.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing with Python.

• Solid experience of one or more cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Experience with FastAPI for building APIs.

• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerized application deployment.

• Strong understanding of database design.

• Interest in AI technologies and enthusiasm for learning more about their applications.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
