Value Proposition: Factorise provide interactive, AI-driven, and community-supported learning to demystify the financial markets. There are many cool things happening in the investment space, but the challenge of solving financial literacy is underestimated. We want to change that.
We're in search of a UX/UI Designer with a talent for creating captivating and intuitive designs. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our digital products, from conceptualizing the initial design to refining user interfaces for optimal usability and visual appeal.
It's essential that you have strong Figma skills. You can cover both UI and UX or it can be an either/or.
You will work on the visual side and the user experience. Youl will start with UX research, build wireframes, UX flow, prototypes, develop visual elements, and make sure that the design is consistent with the product brand while being human-centered at the same time.
UX and UI are two distinct domains though overlapping. UI = the visual elements of a product or a website. Elements are e.g. layout, color scheme, typography, and product aesthetics. UX = the way users interact with a product or website. Elements e.g. navigation, usability, and overall functionality. Both are needed for creating a successful product. A well-designed UI can make a product more visually appealing, while a well-designed UX can make it more user-friendly and easy to use. You of course know this. We are trying to find a person who spans both fields, but consider applying as as well if you are mostly familiar witin one of the domains.

Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for browser and mobile interfaces.
Design UI elements and tools for our chatbot/AI product, learning platform, and community that are visually appealing and user-friendly.
Utilize storyboarding and user journey maps to illustrate the flow and experience of our digital products.
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand our audience, especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
Work closely with designers, design lead, product and front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of UI designs.
Work closely with CEO on customer centricity for products
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Contribute to the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and final handoff.
Utilize and maintain our design traction system to ensure consistency and scalability.
Stay updated on UX/UI trends and best practices, applying them to our platforms to enhance user satisfaction.
Strong expertise in UX/UI design and proficiency with design tools, e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc.
Experience in or passion to learn about creating storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Ability to design with a user-centered approach and to implement inclusive and accessible design principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with both teams, leads, & CEO.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related field or demonstrated self-taught ability.
You can be a student, more experienced and in between projects, and/or wanting in on an exciting opportunity, while you are working your regular job.
It’s crucial that you have the mindset of a problem solver and are excited about creating products in a startup setting. You need to be able to work remote and independently between team collaborations.

Improve your professional trajectory
The job is unpaid and without equity. When we get funded and/or generate revenue, you will have a chance to apply and negotiate for a paid position. You will need to sign an NDA.
We will make the contract for 3-6 months with a 14-day trial period. Hours a week will depend upon individual agreement, but there will be a lower limit, for you to be able to deliver the results needed.
