Y factor is on a mission to turn private sperm donation into a safe, easy, and enabling experience. We aim to remove the barriers—cost, time, and impersonal feel—of traditional third party services with a streamlined, secure platform. We’re a young startup, fresh from completing our business plan, defining key markets, and mapping our product journey. With our app development in progress, we’re diving into launch strategy and need you to help drive our user acquisition and engagement strategy. If you’re excited by the idea of building something meaningful, love hands-on work, and know how to stretch a budget, you might be exactly who we need.
We’re looking for a Growth lead to help us build awareness and grow our user base. You'll play a key role in creating a brand and shaping our visual identity from almost scratch (we have a logo and a few guidelines). You’ll be responsible for planning and executing growth strategies that drive results. This isn’t a “delegate and supervise” role—it’s hands-on and collaborative. You’ll experiment with different channels, analysing data, and working closely with the team to fine-tune our approach as we grow.
As our Growth Lead you will work independently to come up with and execute on tasks, but also in close collaboration with the team, our Tech Lead Deyan and our CEO Sofie, who you will report to. We offer a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Growth Strategy: Develop and implement data-driven go-to-market strategies and growth plans incl. launch strategies, timelines, and key deliverables - both for new product launch, expansion to new markets, and product updates.
Marketing Execution: Execute on 360° marketing plans with a hands-on approach diving in to content creation, ad copy, press releases, basic creative design, promotional articles, SoMe posts, paid campaigns, partnerships, SEO and more.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the other in the team (developers, designers, customer success, and management) to ensure alignment on user acquisition goals, a smooth and effective user journey, and succesful implementation.
Experimentation: Design, test, and iterate on growth experiments to maximise ROI while staying lean and continuously adapting the roadmap going forward.
Reporting: Analyse data, measure results, and present actionable insights to the team.
Measurable User Growth: You have implemented a clear growth strategy, with results showing steady user acquisition, and executed growth experiments, with data-driven learnings shaping your future efforts.
Impactful campaigns: You have launched at least two successful marketing campaigns, showing strong attention to detail and alignment with Y factor's brand, all within budget constraints.
Team Collaboration: You have nailed collaboration across teams with seamless communication, while actively engaging in sparring sessions to refine ideas and strategies, through alignment on goals and sharing insights.
Proactive Problem Solving: You have shown initiative by identifying opportunities, proactively tackling challenges, taking ownership of projects that contribute directly to growth and efficiency, without waiting for direction.
Metrics Mastery: You've actively tracked KPIs, with metrics (CPA, engagement, conversions) clearly improving as a result of your initiatives and adjustments, and you always help the team understand progress and adapt as needed.
Scalable Systems and Processes: You've set up simple, flexible and efficient processes for ongoing campaigns, to track experiments and analyse performance, making it easy to execute and share learnings as the team grows.
Cultural Fit: You have become a trusted member of the team, fully integrated into our collaborative and agile culture, with a willingness to learn, share, and adapt. You demonstrate a team-first mentality earning you the the respect of colleagues, internal and external stakeholders alike.
