To accelerate our market reach and strategically unlock growth opportunities, we are seeking a Director of Strategic Business Development.
Doublepoint is looking for an experienced Director of Strategic Business Development to lead our growth initiatives, bringing our gesture recognition technology to market across various sectors, including XR, wearables, automotive, robotics, and more. This role is pivotal in aligning business strategies with technical capabilities and ensuring that we drive value for both B2B clients and the business. You’ll help shape the adoption and integration of our technology by defining new applications and expanding into new markets with our partners.
Business Strategy and Market Development: Define and execute strategies that drive product adoption, establish key partnerships, and open new market opportunities for our gesture recognition technology.
Customer-Centered Commercialization: Work closely with the technical team at Doublepoint to ensure successful partnerships, evaluations, and licensing partnerships.
Product Vision and Technical Alignment: Work with a technical program manager to guide the roadmap of the Doublepoint product platform, to make the customer experience increasingly better.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate across teams, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives and market trends to drive value and adoption.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: At least 5 years of senior experience in B2B business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles with technology company customers.
Market Insight: Proven experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for new technology products.
Strategic Vision: A clear ability to turn complex, fuzzy goals into actionable, market-focused initiatives, balancing immediate customer feedback with long-term strategic growth.
Leadership and Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Location: Ability to visit the Doublepoint office, as well as travel to client sites when needed.

Experience with negotiating software licensing contracts.
