We are seeking a dedicated and multilingual Customer Service Agent with a special focus on the Japanese market, to deliver exceptional service across our diverse clientele. You will handle inquiries about our products, process orders, and assist with after-sales support. As a key part of our customer-focused team, you’ll help strengthen our brand’s global presence while ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience that aligns with our Scandinavian values.
Respond to customer inquiries in Japanese and English via our communication platform, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Provide support to international customers, assisting with order placements, product questions, delivery information, and after-sales concerns, with a specific emphasis on Japanese customers.
Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide accurate information and recommendations, ensuring customer communication aligns with brand messaging and product updates.
Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal departments, following up to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
Gather and communicate customer feedback to help improve the overall customer experience and inform product development.
Manage and resolve product return cases with a customer-centric approach.
Collaborate closely with logistics partners to address operational issues and drive continuous improvement in logistics processes.
Fluent in Japanese with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in English for internal communication and to support international customers.
Additional language skills are a plus, as you will be part of an international service team.
Prior experience in customer service or support, preferably in e-commerce or a related field.
Strong cultural understanding of the Japanese market, with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with customers from various cultural backgrounds.
Familiarity with CRM software and support tools
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for Scandinavian design, fashion, or lifestyle products is a plus.
