The Role   

As part of our development team, you will be working on e-commerce projects where backend technologies and integrations play a crucial role. The core tech stack includes Node.js for backend development, with an emphasis on APIs and integrations. Experience or exposure to Rust is considered a plus. 

You will be part of a fast-paced e-commerce environment with countless opportunities for both personal and professional growth. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop projects, features, and improvements in a performant and well-tested manner. 

• Collaborate with project management and other stakeholders (Frontend, UX, etc.) to design and implement new projects and features. 

• Write high-quality code that aligns with our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale environment. 

• Regularly deliver small features and improvements with minimal oversight and assistance. 

• Work alongside the team on larger, collaborative projects. 

• Adhere to and contribute to our workflow processes as part of the development team. 

• Advocate for enhancements in project quality and performance, especially those that impact your team. 

• Solve technical problems with high scope and complexity. 

• Provide mentorship and guidance to Junior and Intermediate developers, fostering growth and helping them overcome technical challenges. 

Qualifications 

• Professional experience with Node.js and building integrations and APIs. 

• 2 years of professional work experience. 

• Familiarity with using Git in a workplace setting. 

• A strong grasp of backend development concepts and best practices. 

• Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus. 

• Exposure to Rust development is considered a plus. 

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform is considered a plus.

• Proven ability to diagnose and prevent performance and optimization issues. 

• Positive and solution-driven attitude. 

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
