As a Lead Software Engineer at Monthio, you’ll guide a team of talented developers in building and maintaining our cutting-edge creditworthiness solutions, transforming the financial industry. This senior-level role requires 10+ years of experience and a strong foundation in software development best practices, as well as leadership capabilities. As a hands-on leader, you’ll balance contributing to the codebase with mentoring and supporting team members, helping to shape Monthio’s technical direction. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of developers, offering technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering their professional growth.
Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Technical Contributions
Design and develop software solutions, writing high-quality, maintainable code primarily in C# and other relevant technologies.
Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices, to enhance code quality and maintainability.
Engage in architectural discussions and decisions, contributing technical expertise to influence system design and development standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements, prioritize tasks, and establish realistic timelines.
Work closely with other teams, including data science, DevOps, and customer support, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of solutions that meet client needs.
10+ years of experience in software development, with proficiency in C# and .NET.
Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure.
Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
Deep understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices for scalable, maintainable applications.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Experience in fintech or with creditworthiness solutions is a plus.
Danish isn't a requirement, we are an English speaking office (although some of us like to practice our newly-acquired Danish skills at the coffee machine :).
