Embankment is a technology-first financial services company, delivering a unified and integrated software platform – combined with AI-enhanced services, that digitizes and automates core back-office operations for Europe’s private alternative fund managers. We are 25+ employees and growing rapidly across our main office in Copenhagen and smaller offices in Aarhus, Stockholm and Oslo.
We work on products that we deliver to internal and external customers through different applications that share the same core. The team currently consists of 3 full time senior engineers and 1 student engineer. In addition to engineers we are hiring a product manager and more software engineers to complete the first cross-functional team. We collaborate day-to-day on Slack and using modern dev methodologies via Github. This is a full-time permanent role. You can work from our locations in either Aarhus or Copenhagen and we welcome a few days of remote work per week. Our base salary range starts at EUR 80.000 + pension and benefits.

This role is cross-functional and it is is dedicated to enhancing the user experience across our product offering. Your primary responsibility is to collaborate closely with the whole team to design user-centric designs that enhance the overall experience of our product.
Leading UI/UX: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in both UX and UI design with a primary focus on user experience.
Design Process: Take ownership of an open design process from discovery and initial ideas to validated concepts through iterative feedback.
Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with our cross-functional team of engineers and product management to develop user-centric design.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with other different stakeholders to ensure that our product match expectations.
Research & Best Practice: Conduct user research, apply best practice but back it up with a data-driven approach.
An open mind eager to still learn and teach others.
Problem-solving skills to tackle interesting challenges, finding effective solutions.
Able to design and advocate for high-quality user experiences.
Proven track record when it comes to designing great user experiences.
