XES Helsinki is Haaga-Helia’s Entrepreneurship Society, dedicated to inspiring individuals about business, entrepreneurship, and startups while providing a platform for personal and professional growth.
In collaboration with industry experts, startups, and other entrepreneurship societies, we organize various events designed to immerse our community members in the startup ecosystem. To fulfil our mission of education and inspiration, we host workshops, networking sessions, discussions, excursions, trips, mentoring programs, community events, and much more.

Executive Director’s Role:
Find and secure funding for the upcoming year
Oversee the Annual Budget
Initiate collaborations with external partners and potential sponsors
Oversee the execution of the XES’ Annual Plan
Monitor KPIs and direct execution accordingly
Engage with XES members both in real life and online
Develop collaboration with other ESes
Hire, onboard and manage volunteers
Represent XES and participate in presentations, events, marketing material, etc. (Attendance required for all roles 75%) …and more!
Executive Director’s Requirements:
Leadership Skills & a confident public speaker
Sales skills are a benefit, but interest is needed
Pro-active and interested in problem-solving
Interest in finance and partnerships
Interest in leading an organisation and making executive decisions with the support of XES’ board - Able to work independently, but also works well in a team
Able to contribute around 20h per week (part-time position) for a full-year
Able to be physically present for XES’ events, meetings, gatherings
Head of Marketing’s Role:
Work in close collaboration with Head of events, and plan the year’s marketing accordingly
Ideate a marketing plan/ campaign and strategy
Social media management (mostly organic, but possibility to work with paid ads). Channels include LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram
Brand marketing
Copywriting
Content creation
Design & graphic makings
Marketing Data Analysis
Create newsletters
Oversee XES’ website

Head of Marketing Requirements:
Genuine interest and passion for marketing and creating content
Project management skills. In short, we need someone who is organised, able to plan and execute efficiently
Both a creative and analytical mindset
Graphic design skills are a benefit, but a willingness to learn and know some basics is enough!
At least a basic understanding of marketing, social media strategy, KPIs, and such.
Able to contribute around 13h per week (part-time position) for a full-year
Able to be physically present for XES’ events, meetings, gatherings
Head of Events & Community’s Role:
Plan and execute XES’ events and activities
Host XES’ events, and moderate panel discussions, speaker events, and such
Improve membership process and community reach
Engage with members both in real life and online to strengthen the community and attract new members
Secure and plan collaborations with other entrepreneurship societies/ organizations/ companies for events or activities related to entrepreneurship
Secure brand partnerships for XES’ events. For example, XES has partnered with RedBull, FatLizard, and Limone Pizza

Head of Events & Community Requirements:
Genuine interest in ideating and organising entrepreneurship-related events
Creativity in terms of thinking of interesting events
Project management skills
Team management skills
Sales skills are a benefit, but interest is needed
Quick problem-solving skills (as events can be often unpredictable)
Able to contribute around 13 hrs per week (part-time position) for a full-year
Able to be physically present for XES’ events, meetings, gatherings
