Who are we? 

We have developed a unique B2C platform that we believe have potential for mass adoption. We are looking for a user centric mobile engineer or full stack engineer to come onboard as we commercialize our product. We are looking for someone local in Copenhagen. You are joining a young and growing startup at a stage when you have a lot of influence on the company as a whole.

What do we believe in?

Our team is lean and mean—we believe in building a tight effective product organization with minimum overhead. When WhatsApp sold to Facebook for $14B their team was only 44 people. We aim to create a product with a generational impact while maintaining a relatively small team. Our CEO is an experienced designer and our MVP was developed by just him a frontend and a backend engineer. We want to keep the spirit of a lean team and organization as we grow to more people. We are looking for someone who resonates with this and enjoy being strategic while working alongside our other engineers on both the backend and the frontend.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the CEO to move the product forward. Create processes and structure for the engineering team. Work together with our lead iOS and backend engineer. Assist in general key strategic development of the product, team and business.

What are we looking for?

A structured person who cares deeply about user experience. It is not a must but a definite plus if you can ballpark design and create UI without necessary support from designers for hot fixes etc. You understand the different stages that startups go through and are able to fill in the gaps and bridge where needed as we grow the team.

What stage are we in? 

The initial product was bootstrapped and designed by the founder. It has been tested and validated with real users. You are coming in as we are putting together our core team and beginning commercialization. This role will get a generous equity stake in the business. Boppin is part of the Antler in Copenhagen, an early stage VC and accelerator.
