Are you passionate about using data to minimize human footprint on the environment? Do you enjoy writing clean code, designing, and implementing pragmatic and scalable Machine Learning and IOT solutions?
We are at the forefront of insect monitoring, providing essential data to support biodiversity preservation. Our IoT sensor technologies capture insect activity, processed and analyzed in our Data Lake using AI. The resulting biodiversity insights are presented to our customers through our customer portal, enabling them to take informed action and document their impact on biodiversity. In doing so, we help drive sustainable solutions for the planet.
We’re a team of approximately 15 professionals working out of our office in Nordhavn. Our work environment embraces agile development, cross-functional collaboration, and a culture of innovation. We prioritize open dialogue, fail-fast experimentation, and an entrepreneurial mindset as we pursue our shared vision.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with data scientists, developers, and biologists to enhance the quality and capabilities of our Machine Learning solutions, including their lifecycle management (MLOps). You will also be involved in discovering innovative ways to present our data to customers and interacting with them to understand better how our data can generate valuable insights.
Given our company's innovative culture, you will also participate in skunkworks projects aimed at jumpstarting new product developments or expanding the application areas of our existing solutions.
Collaborate with the product owner and team to refine features and user stories that drive the development of our Data Lake and MLOps capabilities.
Building ML models on signal data from our sensors and statistical models of related biodiversity and ecosystem health,
Design and build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for presenting complex biodiversity and insect activity data.
Work closely with the team to integrate new technologies and maintain a scalable infrastructure on AWS.
Contribute to an agile environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
3+ years of experience as an ML engineer
MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar,
Experience with applying deep learning for signal processing
Understanding and experience with MLOps
Solid programming skills in Python
Experience with cloud programming, especially AWS

+ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technology functions.
