DevOps engineer

ag analytics A/S is a leading auto-tech company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We specialize in marketing automation and customer satisfaction for the automotive industry. Our product, Autoflows, is used by more than 600 car dealers across Europe. 

Our team is rapidly growing, and we are now looking for a talented and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us deliver the best solutions and services to our clients. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing processes, tools, and methodologies that balance the needs of the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment, to maintenance and updates. 

What you will do 

• Scale Infrastructure and DevOps processes to handle 10x current load. 

• Build staging environment to facilitate rapid testing. 

• Setup Datawarehouse for DataScience analysis and setting up foundations for good ETL pipelines. 

• Optimize the software development lifecycle and customer satisfaction using automation, feedback, and improvement techniques. 

• Ensure software quality, reliability, and security using DevOps best practices and performance monitoring tools. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software performance, functionality, and compatibility across different platforms and devices. 

• Collaborate closely with our development teams to identify areas for improvement. 

• Ad hoc work to make the startup run. We’re still small, so expect some irregular tasks. 

What you bring to the table 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Proven experience (3+ years) with a focus on Linux environments. 

• In-depth knowledge of security best practices for Linux systems. 

• Strong expertise in Linux server administration. 

• Experience with building and hosting containerized applications. 

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 

Ideally, you also have 

• Worked in a startup before 

• SQL Experience. We use PostgreSQL. 

• Experience with RHEL (Redhat certifications not required). 

• SELinux and Podman experience. 

• Previous experience of automation and scripting in relevant automation languages, such as Ansible. 

• Experience with creating and maintaining application deployment pipelines.

You will work from our Copenhagen office, located by Højbro Plads in the tech start-up community Matrikel 1. 

About our interview process 

• Online or face-to-face introduction to ag analytics and you (30 minutes). 

• Case-based interview with team members and Head of Engineering (1 hour). 

• Closing talk with Head of Engineering including compensation, starting date, and all other practical details (30 minutes).
