Job Title: Student Consultant (Volunteer, 5-10 hours per week)

Location: Frederiksberg and Copenhagen Area, Denmark.

At Millennial Consulting we are looking for ambitious and proactive students with an analytical and innovative mindset who are interested in joining us for a nine-week volunteer project, where you’ll collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, solve business challenges for SMEs and start-ups, and receive valuable advice from leading consultancy firms and dedicated mentors.

About us

Millennial Consulting is a student-run management consultancy and program, belonging to the Student & Innovation House, Station. We provide strategy consulting services to start-ups and SMEs that seek help with their business, by matching them with ambitious students and recent graduates for a two-month consulting project to bring real-world business solutions for those companies. With the guidance from professional consultants, participants gain hands on consulting experiences and broaden their professional networks.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Project Execution: Collaborate within a diverse team of 3-5 students to deliver actionable solutions for Danish SMEs or start-ups.

  • Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify client challenges and opportunities.

  • Strategy Development: Formulate strategic recommendations to the company based on your findings and theoretical insights.

  • Workshop Participation: Attend sessions led by consulting firms, SME’s and start-ups.

  • Reporting: Prepare a presentation of your findings and recommendations.

  • Mentorship Engagement: Work closely with experienced consultants to guide you.

We’re looking for

·       Education: A student in their second or third year of their Bachelor’s or their Master’s - we welcome students of all fields, from business to social science, humanities, engineering, and the natural sciences.

·       Skills: Analytical thinking capabilities, proactive and innovative, team player, good communication skills.

·       Motivation: A motivated individual who is looking to excel in or learn from the field of consulting  

·       Mindset: Someone with a passion for making a positive change in society and an interest in helping start-ups 

 

Important Dates

  • Application Deadline: 20th February

  • Interview Dates: February 22nd and 23rd

  • Project Kick-off: 1st and 2nd of March. Mandatory to participate.

  • Final Event: 3rd May. Mandatory to participate.

  • This is an unpaid volunteer role to gain professional experience

  • The position requires in-person engagement in Frederiksberg and the greater Copenhagen area.

  • The selection process includes a CV screening, a short application assessment, and a team-based case study during the interview process.
