At StepUp, we're dedicated to improving COPD patients life through innovative wearable technology. Our device continuously measures and monitors vital parameters such as breathing, heart rate, and more, providing trainers and owners with real-time insights into their physical conditions. This not only boosts life longevity but also significantly reduces the risk of exarcebations. Join our international team of six, where each member brings a wealth of knowledge across diverse competencies.
We are seeking a full-time Engineering Intern to help us refine and develop algorithms that detect early signs of exarcebations in COPD patients.
Data Transformation: Convert signals from our innovative sensors (breathing, IMU, ECG, GNSS, etc.) into actionable data for doctors using both conventional signal processing and machine learning techniques.
Algorithm Optimization: Enhance algorithms and models to efficiently process data on Edge devices.
Data Collection: Manage and oversee the collection of comprehensive training data to support algorithm accuracy and effectiveness.
Research Contribution: Participate in the creation of scientific publications related to our technology and findings.
Fundamental understanding of signal processing
Fundamental understanding of machine learning principles
Skilled in Python programming
Familiar with biosignal interpretation
Background in anatomy, physiology, or human studies
Experience in biomedical engineering
Experience with TensorFlow
Knowledge of Embedded C programming
A quick learner
