Job Title: Part-time Student Finance and Administration Assistant

Upteko is an international and innovative start-up company within the drone industry, and we are currently seeking a part-time student with analytic and finance skills to join our team of 15 people. 

 

ABOUT THE COMPANY

UPTEKO´s vision is to radically improve the offshore shipping and wind power sectors through innovative drone technology.

We are a start-up that was founded in 2018 and we recently installed our first drone system with maritime customers and secured funding to develop the next generation of automated and smarter drone systems. You will be joining an exciting journey early on.

 

The Role: 

  • As our new assistant, you will support the Finance and HR department in managing the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the company.

  • You will be responsible for tasks such as documenting finance processes, supporting financing tasks, and handling the administrative work.

  • You will have the opportunity to work closely with the leadership and gain insights into the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting our Finance and HR department  

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high-quality financial operations. 

  • Assist in other finance and administration tasks as required. 

  • Manage payroll process

  • Reporting to public grants

  • Support grant writing, from a finance perspective

  • Document key finance processes 

 

Requirements: 

  • Current university student studying international business, finance, or similar. 

  • Excellent numeracy skills with a general holistic business understanding 

  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel 

  • Detail-oriented and able to turn vast amounts of data into easily understandable findings. 

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to maintain structure in daily work. 

  • Proactive personality

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
