Social Media Student Intern (Onsite in Denmark)

Salary Unpaid

Intro:

Are you spending your waking hours figuring our the Insta / TikTok algorithms to increase engagement? Are you perhaps an aspiring influencer? Do you have a passion for women's health who wants to close the gender health gap with your marketing know-how?

UVISA Health is an early-stage women's health company currently in the process of developing a non-pharmacological treatment device for common vaginal infections such as Candidiasis (svamp) and Bacterial Vaginosis (BV).

What We're Seeking:

At UVISA we are seeking a tech-savvy intern to join us to kick-start our Social Media marketing strategy. We are looking to bring in new team members that get a thrill out of increasing follower numbers and gaining traction on posts, who may have some knowledge and experience of marketing, but who mostly have a natural eye for clever & appealing content creation.

We want someone who understands how social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok are used for building trust within a customer base from a business perspective, that can initiate and manage Social Media accounts on multiple platforms, schedule posts, and grow presence on these platforms.

Who You Are:

If you're a student in marketing, brand strategy, communications, journalism, social media marketing or similar and seeking a special project to customise your education and gain ECTS from real-world experience, then this could be for you.

Demonstrable skill in Social Media growth, image editing and video creation is a bonus!

A passion for women's health is optimal, as is an entrepreneurial mindset. Extra points to applicants that have some knowledge of, or interest in, human anatomy, biology, microbiology and/or medical sciences.

What We Offer:

At this time we are offering a short-term student internship with possibility of expanding into a paid student position at a later time dependent on success in the role.

We are offering this role as part of a formal education for ECTS credits. In addition, we can offer a fun working environment, the opportunity to shape the role and, in some ways, the company as it evolves, the possibility to add real value to women globally by empowering them with knowledge, and the chance to work in an area of healthcare that you are (hopefully) passionate about.

Working at
Uvisa Health

Uvisa are an ambitious Women's Health Medical Device company on a mission to benefit women by offering them non-pharmacological solutions to their most intimate health issues. Up to 1.45 billion women worldwide each year are suffering with vaginal discomfort and itching, most commonly caused by bacterial and fungal infections. This an extremely distressing condition that, if left untreated, can lead to infertility, increased risk of contracting STI's, and premature birth and miscarriage during pregnancy. Currently the only options for women to treat these conditions are over the counter pharmaceutical remedies and prescription antibiotics. Uvisa are a scientifically focussed startup that are using technological advancements to develop a reusable device that will treat this condition regardless of the underlying cause, without the use of chemicals or drugs, and in a matter of minutes. We believe that women's health has been overlooked, underfunded and neglected for far too long! We are a team of three passionate people that want to change the status quo and give women and those with vulvas alternative options which do not require them to pump their bodies full of man-made pharmaceuticals.
