Monthio was founded in 2018 and today is a software development company with around 60 employees. Our core product is a B2B SaaS product used by financial institutions to get an automated, clear overview of a consumer's financial situation. We are currently operational in 5 countries and expanding our footprint across Europe, with a vision to emerge as a leading fintech powerhouse in the creditworthiness sector.
You will be a member of our Data Analysis group within the Research team and will have a pivotal role in analyzing transaction data, focusing on categorization and problem-solving, across our international markets.
As a member of the Data Analysis team, you will be working closely with fellow analysts addressing similar challenges in other markets. You will collaborate with both product and client-facing teams, providing them the necessary data analysis support. Your contributions will directly impact the development of our product foundation and help us build smarter financial solutions.
Performing daily transaction categorization
Monitoring and improving the quality of our data categorization product
Creating innovative solutions for ad-hoc data analysis tasks
Supporting the sales team with preparing and presenting data analysis benchmarks
Contributing to the growth and success of the data analysis team
You have a strong interest in data analytics and are driven to solve complex problems. You are eager to collaborate across teams to enhance our product and optimize the customer journey. Your strength lies in identifying and addressing challenges, leveraging the data to conduct comprehensive analyses.

A native German speaker with a good understanding of German culture, systems and processes
Experience or interest in data and technical set-ups like SQL or Python.
Experience with data visualization programs like PowerBI, SQL Dashboards, Tableau
Familiarity with Databricks
Relevant university degree and/or work experience
