About The Role

As part of our ambitious team, the Sales lead will play a critical role in leading and growing our global sales team, which currently consists of four Account Managers and two Business Development Representatives. Your experience in recruiting and managing a high-performing team will be pivotal for the company in driving revenue growth. A key part of the role will also be contributing directly to deal flow, securing execution of enterprise sales processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reaching quarterly net new revenue target: As a key leader in the commercial team, you’ll be responsible for reaching a growing revenue target. You’ll be empowered by the entire company in delivering value for our customers and will be responsible for the global sales team

  • Building healthy sales culture: Ensuring that we provide value to our customers and sell in a way that supports the continued growth of the company in collaboration with customer success, technical sales, marketing and the rest of the company. Balancing growing targets with a healthy team dynamic is a crucial part of this role.

  • Sales process and strategy: Manage and put in place processes to support the sales team in efficiently working with customers, including accurately forecasting quarterly revenue and and building pipeline for continued growth.

  • Directly driving deals: In close collaboration with the sales team members, leading the way in driving value based sales, taking control of deals and being able to coach and review in a constructive fashion. Putting the strategy into practice operationally is a crucial part of this role.

  • Global recruiting: To build the sales organisation capable of supporting the growth of the company, leading the recruiting effort and onboarding of more team members in the HQ in Copenhagen as well as globally.

 

Job requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has significant experience directly in enterprise sales as well as in sales management in SaaS-type scale-ups.

  • Excels in taking responsibility for revenue targets and forecasting while making adjustments to sales and go to market strategy.

  • While an educational background in biotech or microbiology is beneficial, it is not a requirement.

  • Cares about and is able to drive a healthy culture, both within the sales team and as it relates to the whole company.

  • Has experience recruiting and onboarding succesful sales representatives globally.

  • Is eager to learn and adapt, contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

We want to give you a deep background on Reshape, what we stand for and where we want to take the company, and we want to learn about who *you* are and what *you* stand for as a person. 2. The second interview is focused on diving deeper into the technical parts of your future role, learning deeply about your experience in you respective field and where you want to go as a person. 3. The third interview is a meet & greet with the team. We care a lot about our culture and want to take great care of it. We’ll invite you in for an afternoon to meet the current team in a relaxed setting to give you the opportunity to see what it is like to work at Reshape. 4. If an offer is extended, we will talk through and clarify any doubts or questions. Often this is a phone call at the end, or we’ll invite you in to discuss if necessary. For certain hires, we may adjust the process a little bit, but we will make sure to cover the topics so all parties feel comfortable about making a final decision.
