CONTENT...

In 2024, we live in a world where content is King.

Where million dollar brands are being built from scratch with little more than everyday tools that are available to all of us such as an Iphone, a laptop, an internet connection, and most importantly, a creative point of view that gets channeled through easy to digest online content.

If you are reading this, you no doubt have heard of Gary Vee. Logan Paul. Diary of a CEO.

You no doubt, are a consumer of podcasts, informative and entertaining Youtube videos. Instagram reels (yes, even the useless ones).

You no doubt have grown up in the age of content!

Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Yusufa (pronounced: You-Sue-Fah, which sounds oddly similar to "lucifer").

I myself....know absolutely nothing ........ about content.

I do not know how to record creative content. I do not know how to edit content. I do not know how to setup slick camera angles and capture content.

But then again, if I did know any of this, then you would not be reading this job ad, would you.

I will tell you what I do know.

I know how to build businesses.

How to acquire profitable companies, for millions of Euros in cash, using bank loans and equity injections from professional investors.

I know how to hire teams of people and how to motivate them to be the best, most productive and effective versions of themselves.

I know all of this, because I have done all of this.

In 2017, I founded a "startup".

It was not my first company, nor was it my first "startup".

However, it was the first time I ever tried to establish a business of this nature. A private equity business. An investment company..."startup".

I partnered with an ultra high net worth individual (who happens to be a good friend of mine) and setup IPO Capital as an umbrella company under which banner I would enter the private equity world via executing various investment transactions.

I have since 2017:

• Invested in a series of businesses in Denmark together with my partner

• Established a holding company named Northern Industries under which I have acquired 4 U.K businesses in the steel industry which now owns 5 steel factories across England

• Grown Northern Industries from an idea on a napkin to a business that generates over 40 million Euros in annual revenues and has over 300 full time employees based in England

• Hired a professional management team to manage the day to day operations in England

• Attempted, and failed... to list our UK steel group on the Nasdaq stock exchange - which was an exercise in "how not to try and list a company" - as the attempts failed miserably despite our best efforts and 2 years of work towards that 1 goal

• More recently, established a new holding company to execute on a similar buy-and-build strategy but in the ventilation sector in England (HVAC), whereby we are hoping to build an even larger group than our UK steel group

However whilst I have been busy executing on all of the above I have made 1 grave mistake.

None of the above, was captured, documented, recorded.

So.......back to "content".

I am looking for someone like you (now, having read through this job post - surely your the type of person that would be up for something like this, right?)

I am searching for someone who lives, breathes, thinks about content creation.

Someone who has studied the Mr Beast's and someone who thinks to themselves "gee, if only I had an interesting muse to work with, I would be a killer content creator"

I am searching for you, and I am waiting for you, to respond to this job post.

I want to hire you.

I want you to work with me on a part-time basis, whereby we agree on a work format which could for example be meeting up twice per week (or whatever, I mean, you are the expert right? - so give me your expertise...), and whereby you follow me, record me, document me, as I do my thing.

My thing..... is finding profitable businesses for sale in the UK via working with sell-side brokers. Via traversing the internet for leads, via word-of mouth and the like.

Having meetings with those business owners where I introduce them to who I am and what I do, and where we discuss the details of their business, their valuation expectations, their desires for an exit.

My thing, is hiring operators to run my businesses, having lengthy, often times painful discussions with banks to line up debt financing for leveraged buyout transactions.

My thing, is lining up these deals for myself and my business partners such that we can acquire healthy, profitable business together and work to have the businesses become the best versions of themselves.

My thing, is doing all of the above not from some fancy office in the city (although I have had a few of those,) but honestly, mainly from my home office in the suburbs of Denmark (boring - yes, I know).

I of course, often head to Copenhagen central for face to face meetings with associates, dinners in the city, night clubs and evening galas from time to time.

I of course also often take trips to the UK where I meet with banks, business owners, as well as conduct site visits to our factories.

Now let's talk about your thing...

Your thing, would be shadowing me and hopping onto some of my calls (always with suitable permissions sort ahead of time from counter parties, of course), capturing all of these moments on camera, editing them into short form content for IG posts and IG reels - making me look good, as I do my thing.
