♟️ About Us

SPEDA is VC-backed early stage start-up with a working MVP and a paying customer (+ additional customers lined up). Working on medical studies, we saw that the systems are broken and there is a great chance to build something that makes a difference. SPEDA automates the extraction and structuring of health records for academic and pharmaceutical researchers despite missing APIs, making research faster and more economical — ultimately facilitating medical breakthroughs. We see a future where the vast health data is utilized optimally to create a data-based health system and enable better preventive- and personalized health care. We are looking for an experienced, visionary Chief Technology Officer to build the next versions of our product and lead our technology strategy and help drive our company's growth.

👯 Team

  • Ali, Founder & CEO, Medical Doctor by training with a heart for entrepreneurship and innovation. Self-taught developer, built the MVP. Built a management system for EV chargers, made a booking and membership administration system for the local Kayak Club and more. Has experience with clinical research and software development for health care, where he collaborated on the cat-app.dk. Love to travel and explore the world with visits to your atypical destinations from exploring the Ethiopian nature to cold bites of northern Finland past the Arctic Circle.

  • Nikola, Founder & CCO, originally from Germany but living in Denmark for a few years. Worked in a MedTech scale up the last years with Strategy, Project Management and the Commercial and Sales area. Working at
SPEDA

SPEDA makes health data more accessible! We build software to automate data extraction and structuring from electronic health record systems to increase efficiency in clinical research and help them create the best possible treatments for patients. Health data infrastructure is messy and interoperability is a big challenge. In clinical research data is transferred manually from one digital system to another. The manual process slowers research by years and expenses for the manual labor is estimated to be in the 6 digits scale (DKK). The global clinical research market is worth 54 billion USD and at least 20% is spend on manual data extraction processes. SPEDA utilize a mashup of technologies to build the software infrastructure that makes data transfer automatic. This ranges from integrations to healthcare systems and use of genAI to structure health care data. Better utilization of health records is essential to build the future of health care. Everything from cutting-edge ML models for preventative and personalized medicine to drug development is dependent on high quality data. If the infrastructure is not build the innovation and development is slowed and we will see a decrease in the quality of care.
