Key Account Manager - Retail

Role Objective:

The Retail KAM will focus on driving volume sales for Cocohagen’s 40g everyday bar. This role targets retail and convenience stores, including supermarkets, and gas stations. The emphasis is on achieving high availability and volume sales without compromising on product quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to introduce the 40g everyday bar to retail and convenience stores.

  • Identify and secure placement opportunities in supermarkets, gas stations, and other convenience stores.

  • Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences and retail trends.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers and decision-makers.

  • Monitor sales performance and use data to optimize sales strategies and promotional activities.

  • Negotiate contracts and terms with retail partners to ensure optimal product placement and pricing.

  • Providing guidance and oversight to the staff to ensure optimal performance.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in key account management, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.

  • Familiarity with retail merchandising and promotional strategies.
