We are seeking a versatile Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This role will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and providing insights to enhance our operations and strategic initiatives.
We are not looking for someone with years of experience, but someone who is ready to grow with the responsibility, and in time be the lead of a data science team.
You are excited by all things data: From extraction to visualisation and helping make strategic, data-driven business decisions. At the same time, you are structured and ready to provide reporting data for our finance and operations.
Data Analysis:
Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Business Intelligence:
Design and implement BI solutions to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with different teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Optimize data processes and workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
Strategic Insights:
Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
Support the development of data-driven strategies to achieve business objectives.
Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the tech team, including the CTO, lead developer, and UX designer.
Partner with various departments to ensure data alignment and integrity.
Work closely with the impact team to extract insights from their analysis for data-driven investment decisions.
Collaborate with finance and other teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date data on finance, operations, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
Some experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and statistical software (Python/R).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with data management and data warehousing is a plus.
