We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive (AE) to join us. We are looking for someone with previous experience selling to the legal and financial services industry and with knowledge of the AML, KYC, or Risk Management space. You will join a growing team of three and play a part in defining our GTM strategy. In this role, you will engage, nurture, and close opportunities across the Nordic region.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales cycle management: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including discovery, presentations, negotiation, and signing.

  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Solution selling: Understand customer needs and requirements to effectively communicate the value proposition of Meo’s solutions.

  • Market and competitor analysis: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to position Meo effectively.

  • Collaboration with marketing and product teams: Work closely with marketing to generate leads and with the product team to provide feedback from the market.

  • Achievement of sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas, contributing to the overall success of the company.

  • Identifying high-profile clients: Help the company meet its growth targets by identifying, engaging, nurturing, and successfully closing deals with new high-profile clients.

  • Product pitches and demos: Deliver compelling product pitches to senior leaders and work with Solutions Engineering to build tailored demos and find innovative solutions to prospects' challenges.

  • Industry network cultivation: Cultivate a robust network of industry contacts across the EMEA region to drive sales development and support our Alliances strategy.

  • Lead generation collaboration: Collaborate with SDRs and Marketing on outbound and inbound lead generation efforts.

  • Sales process optimization: Participate in the continuous optimization of our Sales playbook and processes, from enablement to reporting and tooling.

  • Customer operations liaison: Liaise with our Customer Experience team to ensure smooth integration and roll-out, contributing to ongoing client satisfaction efforts.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven sales experience: 4+ years of sales experience selling SaaS products in the Legal and Financial Services industry. Experience selling RegTech and GRC software (KYC, AML, TMS, etc.) is preferred.

  • Track record of success: Experience in Mid-market and Enterprise SaaS sales with a consistent track record of exceeding quota and revenue goals.

  • Technical acumen: Strong technical acumen and comfort discussing high-level integration scenarios.

  • Interpersonal skills: Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with individuals across various personality types and organizational levels, fostering productive relationships.

  • Communication skills: Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the value of Meo’s solutions.

  • Detail-oriented: A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership.

  • Result-driven: A result-driven approach because this is what matters in the end.

  • Team player: A collaborative nature, able to work independently and take ownership of your work.

  • Language requirement: Native or fluent Danish is essential for engaging effectively with our Danish-speaking clients and understanding local compliance challenges.

What to expect in your first quarter


From your first day, you'll immerse yourself in Meo's culture, products, and the compliance challenges our clients face. We'll equip you with the knowledge and resources needed to start your sales journey, focusing on understanding our value proposition and how it solves industry-specific problems.


Your first three months will focus on pipeline development—identifying prospects, engaging leads, and driving to close. You'll collaborate with the marketing team to leverage lead generation efforts and work with product teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs. The goal is to demonstrate your ability to close deals and contribute to Meo's growth.
