Doublepoint creates cutting-edge interaction technology for next-generation UI’s in Augmented Reality and general consumer electronics. Our smartwatch algorithms detect subtle hand gestures and need to be accurate, responsive, low power, and generalizable across populations all while only utilizing the the sensors built into the smartwatches themselves.
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to spearhead several key projects with our algorithm and product leads. This role requires a blend of strategic foresight, organizational and communication skills, as well as technical understanding across hardware, software and user interface domains. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in cross-functional teams deploying products into the real world. They will be a key member of the leadership team at Doublepoint and instrumental to ensure the company achieves its goals.
You will primarily manage projects in the three following categories:
Drive the development of ML interaction models
Shipping client deliverables in a well structured, documented and easily understandable manner.
Delivering demo experiences for exhibitions and client meetings.
Throughout the projects, we are looking for leadership in
Authoring, documenting, and communicating project plans, deliverables, sub-tasks, and milestones.
Foreseeing and articulating the need for required resources in order to achieve the tasks and goals required by our algorithm and product teams.
Identifying, anticipating, and mitigating risks and dependencies involved in achieving company goals.
Ensure the teams work effectively in all phases of tech and product development and instill a culture of accountability in the company
Ensure clear communication of project status both internally and externally
At least 5 years of Program Management involving both software and hardware
Prior experience and consistent track record of leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously to completion.
Prior experience and track record of integrating work between different functional teams
Experience with Machine Learning, Hardware Sensors, and Human Computer Interaction
Excellent communication skills and tendencies
Ability to understand concepts and priorities quickly
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or otherwise relevant field
