JOB DESCRIPTION

As we are growing fast, we're looking for an experienced controller to join our amazing finance team. In the controller role, you will be reporting directly to the CFO and will get to work across teams to increase your finance skills and make an impact on the organization. You will independently and proactively do analysis, reporting and bookkeeping in Denmark, Germany, France, Norway etc. and assist the CFO in many other finance related tasks.


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

  •  Financial operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, AR, AP and ad hoc accounting responsibilities in all countries where LifeX operates.

  •  Maintain and develop bookkeeping processes and systems.

  •  Participate in monthly and annual reporting.

  •  Participate in projects focusing on automation and optimization of processes and procedures.

  •  Drive expense management across teams.

  •  Set up and invoicing of LifeX customers.

  •  Take on cross-team administrative projects and tasks.


WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  •  Knowledge of Danish or German accounting and finance principles.

  •  Relevant education and experience in finance, bookkeeping, controlling or similar.

  •  Have knowledge to E-conomics or similar ERP systems.

  •  Experience in creating reports for different stakeholders.

  •  You are a skilled user of Excel and have great analytical skills.

  •  Obsessive about details and a structured worker with a strong work ethic

  •  Manage multiple tasks and priorities accordingly.

  •  Willing to embrace new technologies, which can improve the finance function.

  •  Enjoys working with detailed administrative tasks.

  •  Are proficient in German and English.
