Cludo’s easy-to-use platform is used by marketing teams and developers at some of the biggest brands across the globe to gain insights and analytics about what their end users are looking for on their website, intranet, e-commerce, mobile app, federated and enterprise search solutions. With two global locations, Cludo is excited to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer in our Copenhagen, Denmark office.

The role

At a time when available information continues to grow, so does the need for connecting users with the answers they seek. As a Senior Frontend Engineer with Cludo, you will be tasked with creating innovative solutions that optimize how users find needles in haystacks. More specifically, you will design and develop user-facing components that leverage Cludo's search capabilities. You will be a shining example for other front end developers and help bring the team to greater heights when it comes to code quality, development processes, and overall growth.

Our ideal candidate will live near or in Copenhagen, although we are open to remote candidates living elsewhere in the EU.

What you'll do

• Assist in leading Cludo's Search Experience efforts

• Take ownership of client-side libraries as part of the Cludo team

• Help ideate products and features solving search problems

• Contribute to design of the overall system architecture

• Provide mentorship and support to other developers

• Design and implement new product features

• Work closely with external resources to develop and enforce Cludo’s standards

What we need to see from you

• 6+ years of professional experience as a software developer, with a focus on Javascript

• Experience with the following disciplines and technologies: React, Angular, SASS/LESS

• Experience with Bundler/transpiler frameworks (Webpack, Rollup, Babel or similar)

• Solid understanding of API integration methodologies, Webhooks, and RESTful APIs

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Our interview process

First, we appreciate your patience as we review applicants. This is done manually by the manager and HR (we are quite proud of this!) and is a bit time consuming.

1. If you are selected to move forward after the initial review, you'll meet with HR for an intro call to get to know you and assess basic job fit and culture fit

2. After that, you'll meet Dave, Chief Technology Officer. This is a deeper dive into your experience, knowledge, skills, etc.

3. Next, you'll chat with at least one person from our Dev team to assess technical prowess

4. Lastly, if needed, our CEO, Nick, still enjoys being involved in helping us hire and will see how you align with Cludo's mission and values.
