Job title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder
Job summary: The CTO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing and leading our technology strategy and development.
LikeMinded is a B2B2C platform that connects product owners with consumers through community leaders, such as independent, local retailers and leaders of digital/offline communities. Our private marketplace empowers community leaders to easily source relevant products from suppliers and create unique and attractively priced group purchase offers for their customers/community, with full protection of users' private networks. We currently have over 25 corporates and community leaders that have signed up, and expect to have revenue in the next 1-2 months. Our goal is to build the Western world's leading community group buying platform.
Strategic leadership: Develop and implement a technology vision and strategy that aligns with the overall business goals of LikeMinded.
Product development: Spearhead the development and delivery of our MVP, and ensure the platform's scalability, security, and user experience as we grow.
Team management: Build and lead a high-performing tech team. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Technical innovation: Leverage new technologies for platform enhancement and implement intelligent matchmaking. Current development pipeline beyond the MVP includes utilising machine learning for dynamic pricing, ML/predictive analytics-based customer success tools, and tailored offer creation assistance tools leveraging generative AI - but as CTO you will be critical in scoping and shaping the development objectives, including reassessing the above.
Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate with the CEO and CCO to align technology with market needs, and work with product owners and community leaders to enhance platform capabilities based on customer feedback.
Budget and resource management: Manage technology budgets and resources effectively.
Risk management: Identify and mitigate technological risks.
Proven experience as a CTO or in other tech leadership role
Strong knowledge of tech industry trends
A hands-on person who can build the MVP in-house and with limited use of external resources
Experience with scalable platform development, AI, and machine learning technologies
Experience (or familiarity) with marketplaces
Fast and responsive, understands what it entails to be a startup co-founder
Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities
Ideally, the candidate can be based in Denmark or the surrounding region. A highly matching profile with remote work and the possibility of regular visits to Copenhagen will also be considered.
