The Job:

Teton is growing fast and we need to mature our production capabilities and scalability, while also developing next version of our hardware. Teton has a small hardware lab able to produce prototypes quickly and have assembly inhouse for a tight vertical integrated stack from hardware to software. As Hardware Production Manager you will be a decision maker in when to outsource and when to customise hardware, having deep technical knowledge while also partnering with manufactorers producing parts and suppliers. You will you need a general understanding of mechanics, design, electronics, and firmware. There will be a tight collaboration with our fleet software team in the intersections between hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline and scale up production or current hardware

• Developing and controlling timelines. Adding reasonable buffers and updating the timeline accordingly.

• Establish partnerships with suppliers and manufactures

Qualifications:

• Experience with scaling production of electronic hardware to plus 1.000 units

• Solid knowledge on manufactoring process and CAD design

• Knowledge of DFM for large productions & assembly line setups

Nice to have:

• Experience with PCB scaled manufacturing technologies

• Strong electrical engineering background
