About Valyrion

Valyrion is an ambitious tech startup located in the heart of Copenhagen, close to the Marble Church. We specialize in developing a groundbreaking software solution that drives data-driven marketing for fintech companies and webshops. Our ultimate goal is to connect the right customer with the right products, from the right webshop, at the right time. By leveraging customer data and behavioral insights from our webshops, we use Machine Learning to predict purchasing patterns and determine which products and webshops to target for each individual customer.

Your role

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Frontend Developer or Full-stack Developer with a strong passion for UI/UX design. As our lead on frontend development, you will have significant influence on the development of our user interfaces. You will be a crucial and deciding part of the team, consisting of 3 full-time developers and 1 student assistant. There will be close collaboration with the entire organization to generate value across the organization as well as with external partners.

Responsibilities:

You can work a minimum of 15-20 hours weekly.
Development and improvement of Valyrion's web applications
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative solutions
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using the latest frontend technologies
Contribute new ideas and improvements to our tech

Requirements:

Strong interest in UI/UX design
If Full-stack, at least 70% focus on frontend development
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js or similar)
Proactive approach to identifying and solving design and bugs
Ability to come up with new ideas and improvements to our technology
Knowledge of how REST APIs work and ability to work with them
Good problem-solving skills and detail-oriented
Self-driven and proactive in engaging in dialogue across departments to solve tasks
The ability to meet at the office at least once a week in Copenhagen
Be proficient in Danish, both written and verbally, as most daily communication will be in Danish.

It would be an advantage if you have:

Experience with or knowledge of backend technologies (C#, Node.js, etc.)
Experience with or knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.)
Experience with or knowledge of Azure or similar Cloud Hosting
