Senpage Consulting is a volunteer-led advisory group focused on helping sustainable startups and NGOs achieve their goals without sacrificing their values. We are currently recruiting university students and recent graduates interested in serving as volunteer consultants for a short-term project (approx. 3-month duration). Consultants are assigned to projects on a rolling basis, so if you are interested in contributing, please apply so we know to whom we should reach out!

Our ideal candidate:

• Current student or recent graduate in design, user experience, or a relevant field.

• Positive attitude and a passion for helping sustainable companies succeed.

• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and strong creative skills.

• Proficient in design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch)

• Able to meet deadlines.

• Able to commit 15-20 hours per month.

You don’t need to have a lot of experience, but we expect you to be able to work independently – we are a team of volunteers, so we all work asynchronously.

The role:

This position is aimed at students and recent graduates with a background in design, user experience (UX), or a relevant field who are seeking hands-on experience in crafting visually engaging designs for sustainable businesses. The role focuses on developing creative design solutions that align with clients' brand identities and enhance user experience. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects such as creating branding materials, designing websites, or developing engaging user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.

• Develop visually appealing design concepts that align with clients' brand identities.

• Collaborate with teammates to refine design ideas and iterate on feedback.

• Create final deliverables, such as logos, website designs, or user interface elements.

• Present your work to clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind your design choices.

Senpage Consulting is a nonprofit group that provides pro bono advisory services for sustainability-focused organisations through our network of volunteer consultants. Our mission is to provide sustainability-focused organisations with solutions to improve their operational efficiency while offering students the chance to gain experience through meaningful business cases.

Senpage Consulting's core team consists of permanent members who pursue prospective clients, recruit new volunteers, manage our internal and external communications, and shape the organisation’s broader strategy. Our project teams are comprised of volunteers from local universities who serve as consultants for our clients. We aim to recruit volunteers with a variety of competencies to serve every potential need.
