Looking to become a co-founder of an ambitious food industry start-up?

Sidestream is looking for a co-founder with technical skills that can help us develop a digital platform for recirculating food industry waste streams.

About Sidestream

Sidestream is a startup company working to recirculate undervalued food industry by-products and waste streams. We do this by matching and handling by-products and waste streams between the food businesses that have them, and those that can use them. Throughout 2023, we have initiated various pilot projects on selected waste streams to develop a functioning system for collecting and recirculating these as ingredients for other food businesses. Now, to take our startup to the next level, we are looking to develop a platform that eases this facilitation.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has experience in developing digital platforms. Initially, your role will be to help develop the first prototype of our platform, working to translate wireframes into digital functions and to design the front and back-end of the prototype.

What we offer?

The position is unpaid at the moment but we are continuously working to secure funding and would love for you to become a co-founder in the future if the match is a fit.
