We are looking for a talented, ambitious and team-oriented UI/UX Intern to join our team.

We, at Melatech, are committed to making a difference in healthcare by providing solutions that support healthcare professionals and improve patients’ treatment through optimized clinical workflows. We aim to create powerful synergistic effects between doctors and machines through a combination of domain knowledge, engineering, and design.
Over a thousand clinicians are currently using our solutions to improve their proficiency and provide optimal skin cancer diagnostics for many thousands of patients. Our goal is to help them reach their absolute capacity, ensuring the best possible treatment for patients across the globe.
We are a small team (11 up-to-date) and therefore, the work environment is very open and social. We value freedom, responsibility, skill development, and collaboration above all else. About the role
Your main responsibility will be to assist in creating seamless user experiences across our different platforms, as well as, taking part in planning and conducting qualitative research, interviews and user tests.
Furthermore, you can also expect to get your hands dirty with
Solving design tasks in the sprint and supporting the developers with design assets etc.
Create rapid prototypes which will be used in user testing sessions
Maintaining and contributing to a useful and well-crafted design system in Figma
What we expect from you
You should have a strong creative sense with attention to detail, be structured, open-minded and ready to express your opinion. We expect you to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and be able to juggle different tasks by yourself. And finally, it is mandatory that you are curious and eager to absorb new knowledge about skin diseases and the medical workflows that our software deals with.
Needed qualifications
Enrolled at a design-related education
Some experience creating digital designs for desktop and/or mobile interfaces
Basic knowledge of UX design and testing principles
Experience in Figma
Curiosity and willingness to learn and evolve
Proficiency in English and preferably also Danish
Extra points if you have experience:
Working with design systems
Working in an agile development process
