As a Financial Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to advance our flagship product, Aegir Quant, and champion its application in the industry. This role demands a unique combination of technical proficiency and commercial insight, positioning you as a vital contributor to our strategic direction.

Your key tasks will be to:

• Drive product development of our analytical tools, engaging with clients to gather feedback and provide comprehensive analysis and user guidance.

• Enhance and refine our financial modeling for offshore wind, including asset valuation, portfolio valuation, corporate finance and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and develop advanced cost estimation tools, upholding data accuracy through research.

• Contribute to analyzing the feasibility of offshore wind scenarios, incorporating a wide range of global market trends and the latest technical and commercial developments in the field.

• Collaborate across teams to integrate technical, financial, and market insights into our product offerings.

• Communicate complex analytical insight and strategies effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.

We imagine that you:

• Have at least 3-5 years of experience in the offshore wind industry, e.g. from a developer or investor, alternatively experience from offshore wind advisory, intelligence or research.

• Show strong commercial and strategic understanding of financial analysis, including building financial models for financing and risk analysis, translating these into opportunities for clients.

• Demonstrate proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel and industry-standard offshore wind development assessment software.

• Are adept at problem-solving, concept development, and communicating complex ideas clearly.

• Hold a relevant degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Your competences include:

• A client-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering quality.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and approach complex challenges with a can-do attitude.

• Expertise in leveraging Excel for sophisticated simulations, scenario analyses, and asset model development.

• Effective communication and presentation abilities, suited to a variety of audiences.

• Self-driven with the ability to lead deliveries in a very collaborative environment to bring together skills and insights from diverse teams.

• Passion for innovation and continuous learning in the renewable energy space.
