About Trendsales:

Trendsales is a dynamic and fast-growing secondhand platform in Denmark on a mission to make buying and selling secondhand as easy and secure as possible. 

We are the biggest transactional secondhand platform in Denmark, and have built a profitable and growing business, but we have much bigger plans and are therefore scaling up the team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Frontend Engineering Lead to manage and grow our iOS, Android and web engineering teams based at 2 locations, currently consisting of:

• 2 iOS engineers (Vilnius, LT)

• 1 Android engineer (Copenhagen, DK)

• 1 web engineer (Vilnius, LT)

  
  

Key Responsibilities in order of importance:

• Lead and grow the teams building and maintaining the Trendsales apps for iOS, Android and web

• Work in close collaboration with the backend team on ensuring performance and maintainability

• Drive the technical frontend roadmap, contributing significantly to the strategic direction of our frontends

• Write and commit code

  
  

You are bringing:

• A strong background in software development, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience with native app development for either iOS or Android (or both), with a deep understanding of the related tools and technologies

• Minimum 2 years of experience being a technical lead of either iOS or Android app(s)

• Good understanding of web technologies with an interest to learn more

• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

• A can-do attitude and an urgency to make buying and selling 2nd-hand more easy and secure

You will report to the CTO and be part of the Product & Engineering leadership team which also includes our Backend Engineering Lead, Senior Product Manager and Head of UX/Design.

Interviews are expected to take place in January.
