Trendsales is all about sustainable shopping. Our mission is to make buying and selling secondhand as easy and secure as possible, making secondhand shopping your first choice.
We are the biggest secondhand platform in Denmark within fashion, and have built a profitable business, but we have much bigger plans and are therefore constantly scaling up on all fronts.
Short term, we’re seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to cover a temporary maternity leave from March to November 2024 (9 months). With a high probability of a permanent position from November 2024. This is a unique opportunity to join our dedicated team and contribute to the success of our mission.
The Product team consists of Product Experience Designers and Product Managers. As a team, we’re closely connected with our backend and frontend engineers in the overall Product-Engineering setup, where daily stand-ups, kick-offs and planning sessions are a part of our everyday work as Product Managers.
We are a medium-sized team with a strong focus on maturing the platform and building new features, while constantly ensuring scalability through ongoing maintenance and simplification of existing features.
In your daily work as a Product Manager, our buyers and sellers are always your primary stakeholders. Many of the projects you’ll lead as a Product Manager often have internal stakeholders that are vital to a successful outcome. To ensure their involvement, you’ll not only work closely with the other members of the Product-Engineering team. You’ll work closely with colleagues across all teams and functions – from marketing, BI, finance to Customer Operations. Together you’ll get a deeper understanding of the use cases and define great solutions.
Examples of recent projects are:
Sunsetting the “Trendsales Wallet” to simplify and ensure scalability
Building internal tools for Trade Dispute handling and Fraud Monitoring
Simplifying and improving the Trendsales booster subscription
As a Product Manager, you’ll lead multiple projects or product features at a time. Some projects are big and span over many months, while others are short and with low complexity. No matter the type of project, the key to success lies in your ability to:
involve all relevant stakeholders
understand the use cases
challenge the priorities
define a clear scope, aiming for easy implementation, long term simplicity and high impact
plan a successful release or sunsetting of a feature
a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as Product or Project Manager, Product Owner or similar, within a tech organization
technical flair and sound interest for understanding and discussing technical requirements with engineering
strong problem solving and analytical skills
a demonstrated ability to create results as a team player
a high learning ability and natural curiosity
understanding written Danish is a plus, not a must
an office located in the heart of Copenhagen
flexible options to work remote
company pension and healthcare plan
fully equipped workstation of your choosing
monthly secondhand budget on Trendsales
catered lunch at the office
great colleagues and quarterly company events
