SQUARELY's vision is to connect people with nature. We design and produce ´furniture for plants that can be implemented easily and aesthetically in home and office spaces. SQUARELY products help to maintain plants due to their innovative self-watering system and are designed with sustainable values.SQUARELY is selling to several European markets within B2C and B2B.

Currently, we are offering an internship or a part-time student position to a person who wants to be a part of the SQUARELY team and grow our brand in Denmark and internationally. We would also accept an internship with ECTS points. 

Internship Overview:

As a Product Design Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative, eco-conscious products. You'll work closely with our CEO, gaining hands-on experience in the entire design process – from concept development to prototyping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the ideation and design of sustainable planters and furniture:

  • development of the forms, materials and colors, testing them on the renderings and making models,

• Assist in creating detailed product specifications and prototypes.

• Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility.

• Stay updated on design trends and sustainable practices

• Product testing and ideas for improvement

• Making product guides, documentation and data-sheets

• Taking part in environmental evaluations

  
  

The candidate's requirements:

• Current enrollment in a relevant design or engineering program

• Have skills in 3d softwares, as Rhino, SketchUP

• Have skills in rendering softwares as Keyshot

• Be passionate about the design industry and sustainability,

• Have knowledge and interest in plants

• Have good communication skills in both writing and speaking (English and Danish)

• Can create its own concepts and present the design ideas in the sketch, 3d software, or Illustrator

• Is a structured and conscientious person who can create an overview and meet deadlines

Location:

SQUARELY is based in Copenhagen, we have our Showroom in Nordhavn and the office at Bredgade. We are flexible when it comes to your preferred work location; however, we would like to have 1-3 meetings every week in person.
