Education Facilitator Intern

Rotoy ApS is seeking a motivated Danish speaking Education Facilitator Intern to join our team.

As a Education Facilitator, you will play a vital role in building engaging learning content for our story-driven, e-learning platform.

Working in conjunction with our Learning Experience Strategist, you will leverage the latest in pedagogical strategies, cognitive science and classroom management to build content that teaches and delights. You will have the opportunity to play an oversized role in ensuring that our users have an impactful and engaging learning experience on par with video games and TikTok. You’ll also help create “unplugged” activities utilising gamification strategies, innovative creativity and user-centric problem-solving. Importantly, you will also have the opportunity to deliver your lessons to users and gather valuable feedback that will inform future content iterations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our curriculum development team to design and deliver ‘unplugged’ coding lessons to small user groups utilising Rotoy’s unique storytelling environment.

  • Embrace tight deadlines, ambiguity and the ability to iterate and change course quickly if needed.

  • Foster relationships with local schools and other education entities. 


Requirements:

  • Background in education or related field. Preferably, you are currently a Bachelor or Masters student.

  • Must be able to speak and write in Danish and English.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in ambiguous situations.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for education and curriculum development.

  • Have experience delivering educational content to learners.

  • Must be located in Denmark in order to lead demonstration lessons.


What you will learn:

  • Building engaging, student-centric content for both classroom and e-learning environments. 

  • How to map learning outcomes, concepts, and skills to ensure a coherent and progressive learning experience.

  • Designing formative and summative assessments to assess student understanding and progress.

  • Using creativity and iteration schemas such as design-based learning.

  • Leveraging gamification strategies to enhance student engagement.

  • Classroom management and lesson delivery strategies. 


This is an unpaid internship that requires a physical working presence in our Odense office. While the working hours are somewhat flexible, ideally the candidate will have some availability during normal working hours based on GMT+2. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in curriculum development, gamification strategies, content creation and leveraging learning science to make an impact in a business to consumer (B2C), startup environment.
