Doublepoint Technologies Oy creates cutting-edge interaction technology for next-generation UI’s in Augmented Reality, wearables, and IoT. Our smartwatch algorithms detect subtle hand gestures that have not previously been possible. Now we are taking our products to the next level by launching a new hardware product category.

Role

Our ideal candidate is a jack of all trades tinkerer with a hacker attitude. You'd join our small team of talented and passionate hardware developers that prototype quickly internally the new technologies needed to detect gestures from human hands through wearables. You would collaborate closely with our product, design, and data teams. This role is for an executor that can learn quickly what's needed.

Tasks

• Rapid prototyping of new hardware concepts

• Contributing to device software where needed

• Mature technologies that need to be matured with external partners

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Have prior experience tinkering with hardware, ideally consumer / wearable

• Be interested in emerging technologies

• Be able to work on-site in Helsinki

• Have outstanding communication skills in English
