Who are we

At GamerPay we envision a future, where digital items are just as much a part of your identity as today’s physical goods are. Our vision is to build a global, open marketplace for gaming skins, enabling seamless and secure transactions for gamers. Like Coinbase helped transition crypto from the dark internet, we want to lead the adoption of gaming cosmetics. We started with the largest market, CS:GO, and so far we’ve helped more than 300.000 gamers in more than 450.000 trades… still more than doubling per year. 

GamerPay was launched by a knit team of gamers, marketplace experts and serial founders who first-hand experienced the problems in trading. On top, we are backed by investors who believe in the mission and have supporters like Michael Seibel (co-founder of Twitch & Y-Combinator), Frederik Byskov (co-founder of Astralis) and Heini Zachariassen (co-founder Vivino) on board. On top we went through YC in 2021 and later raised a Seed round.

The GamerPay team is small but mighty… and we are looking for a designer to join that mightiness... We are driven by our mission and by being in close contact with our users and community. Our office-vibe is relaxed and we take pride in coming into the office to keep our culture going.

The Role

We are looking for a problem solving and structured UI/UX Designer to join our team full time on a journey to fix gaming and create multiple complex consumer facing products. 

Your Responsibilities

• Own the UI and UX of our products.

• Truly understand the gamers, analyze and translate trends and bring the player at the front of our design.

• Conceptualize, prototype and validate new ideas as lead or with the team.

• Talk to users regularly and translate problems into features and products.

• Own the design system and brand (guidelines) across the company. Keeping the brand and style guide up to date ensuring it evolves to GamerPays needs. 

• Feedback and sparring with developers and product manager.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience

• Proven track record of designing digital products

• Strong competencies within Figma.

• Comfortable giving your opinion. Be it on designs, features and best practices

• Great at working in high-paced environments

Bonus if you

• Have experience with designing animations.

• Have experience with photo editing software like Photoshop.

• Are a gamer yourself or just find the gaming space interesting

• Have traded items on Steam, 3rd party sites or in crypto

• If you have your own startup experience or first-hand experience from being part of one
