mellow designs is a product development studio that works to design sustainable products with circularity at its core. We build indoor and outdoor structures by repurposing existing materials, hence, extending the life cycle of the materials. We work to develop products that can help eliminate waste from music festivals, events, and commercial spaces.
We are hiring Business Development interns to help with our business development efforts in the Nordics and around Europe. You will report to the COO and will have weekly meetings and assigned tasks.
One thing to note is that it is an Unpaid Internship, but you will get Bonus based on meetings booked and closed sales. Be in charge of outbound with all of our European prospects
Reaching out to various companies, events, municipalities, and other stakeholders, through Cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn
Nurture relationships with existing partners and establish new ones
Research the European market to continuously prospect for new opportunities.
Schedule meetings with potential clients and move them along the sales cycle.
Be in charge of our CRM system (HubSpot)
Report new learnings and reflect on how to improve outbound efforts during Sales training
Attend events around the city as a part of mellow designs team
Assist with any other ad hoc tasks
Experience in a customer/sales-facing role is a plus
Hunter's mentality and willingness to learn
Eager to spend time on the phone to make calls and qualify leads
Can take ownership of tasks
Can work in a team setting but also on your own.
Creative and a fun person to be around
Interest in sustainability and sustainable product development.
Strong communication skills in English is a MUST. Other European languages are a plus.
