Job Description: SoMe (Social Media) Intern

Banana Cph is a fast-growing lifestyle brand based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. As a SoMe intern, you will be primarily responsible for supporting and driving our social media presence to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to gain hands-on experience in the world of social media marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and executing our social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

  • Create engaging and high-quality content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Monitor social media performance using relevant analytics tools and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date on emerging social media trends and best practices to ensure our brand remains innovative and competitive.

  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media promotions, campaigns, and partnerships.

  • Assist in capturing and analyzing data for social media reports to track the effectiveness of our campaigns.

  • Help develop and execute influencer marketing strategies to expand our brand reach and collaboration opportunities.

  • Conduct regular competitor research and analysis to identify industry trends, benchmark against competitors, and propose growth opportunities.

  • Contribute, propose, and execute creative ideas to enhance our social media presence and engage our target audience.


Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Proven experience managing and creating content for social media platforms, preferably in a professional setting.

  • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and their specific functionalities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative ideas.

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and photo/video editing tools is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in social media marketing.
