Currently, we’re looking for an Account Executive to join our team and put clients' needs at the heart of everything– preferably working out of our HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark, but we invite all remotely located able to frequently & feasible visit the office “IRL” to apply also.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and joining our Commercial team, your role is pivotal in understanding the intricate challenges of our clients and guiding them to sustainability solutions. It's not about ticking boxes or meeting quotas. It’s about being an advocate for value-based selling and forging partnerships that leave a lasting impact.

Value-Based Selling: Deeply understand our clients' challenges and only recommend solutions when it genuinely adds value. If BeCause’s platform isn't the right fit, you’ll have the integrity to advise clients accordingly.
Building Authentic Relationships: Engage with clients not as transactions, but as partnerships. Be their ally in navigating sustainability challenges.
Client-Centric Prospecting: Identify and engage with prospects where our solutions can make a meaningful difference.
Sales Execution with Integrity: Develop and follow a sales process that prioritizes value delivery over deal-closure. Every interaction should empower the client.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Customer Success and Market Research teams to ensure the client experience is not just seamless, but transformative.
Feedback as a Gift: Be the conduit for client feedback, ensuring it shapes our offerings.
CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records in CRM, with a focus on insights that help in delivering value to our clients.
Have 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in SaaS or sustainability.
Possess exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate value propositions and understand client needs.
Display a strong focus on customer-centricity and the ability to foster meaningful relationships.
Experience in value-based selling and handling complex client requirements.
Are proficient in CRM software and sales tools.
Have passion for sustainability and a drive for making positive change.
Understand the intricacies and dynamics of seed-stage startups.
Display acumen in navigating the challenges of scaling and growing a business.
Are a quick learner who can adapt to the ever-evolving world of sustainability.
Prove adeptness at multitasking and juggling multiple client relationships simultaneously.
Have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
Experience with the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry as well as AI-powered platforms or sustainability tech solutions is a plus.
Are a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Are an excellent listener, always keen to understand before being understood.
Can inspire trust and confidence in clients and colleagues alike.
Are resilient and can handle the highs and lows of a startup environment.
