THINK is a non-profit organisation committed to advancing health and well-being for vulnerable communities both locally and globally. Our work spans three central domains: research, health systems strengthening, and capacity building. Our focus is on addressing a wider spectrum of critical health challenges which include Infectious Diseases, Mental Health, Gender disparities, and building resilient healthcare systems in the face of pandemics and climate change. THINK engages with the local community, government consortia, and international funders to provide care and carry out cutting-edge work that has contributed to making a difference both locally and globally.
Job description:
We are looking for an independent intern filled with drive and passion for contributing to the communications of THINK internationals Danish Office and engage people to join our mission of making a difference in Global Health. We expect you to take the lead on the tasks at hand, with support and guidance from your colleagues and managers.
Key responsibilities:
• Participate in developing and driving the communication strategy at THINK in Denmark.
• Creating content for our social media platforms and analyzing their performance, incl. LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
• Research and contribute to internal understanding of social media best practices and tracking analytics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Danish Media to promote interest in their publications on our current programs.
• Close collaboration with comms team in South Africa to share creative ideas on stakeholder engagement and external communication.
• Contribute to our newsletter with ideas and writing articles.
• Support of project colleagues with communications materials for presentations, fundraising etc.
• Using ChatGPT and other AIs to facilitate your work and improving processes.
• Possibility of focusing on you own interests within communication tasks.
Requirements:
· Enrolled in a relevant academic program (Communications, Global development, Antropology, Business Administration & Psychology, global health, etc.).
· Previous experience in similar position in a student position or volunteer position
· Strong analytical skills.
· Passion for global health, communications, SoMe analytics, and making a difference.
· Excellent communication, teamwork abilities and independent.
· Fluent in English

The internship is preferably a full-time position, but working hours can be adjusted to exam periods and other student jobs. It is an unpaid internship position, starting in January/February 2024 lasting for at least 5 months (subject to university agreement).
You will be working at our office in Copenhagen, and you must hold the right to undertake an internship in Denmark. We have a small team in Copenhagen, working in a co-working space together with UN Live, Dalberg Media and Nordic Safe Cities, who we host social events and Friday bars with.
