Introduction:

Exseed Health specializes in the development of medical devices and mobile applications with a focus on treating male infertility and introduced a device that allows men to test their semen quality from the comfort of their home.

The first gen device can detect sperm concentration and motility by simply inserting a sample holder that contains the sample and then putting a smartphone on top.

Project Description

In July 2023, we launched our second-generation device that will allow us to ensure consistent video quality as well as open up more parameters. The reception in the market has been beyond expected. As such, we are ramping up production our second-generation devices and require a student assistant who would be able to work on a part time basis to help us with ramping up of device production as well as process improvements to streamline the assembly.

Task:

As the ramping up of production requires you to be able to work with small parts, attention to detail is paramount.

The task involves hands-on work with assembly of high-tech devices. and documentation as well as working with our operations manager to streamline the process. Updation of CAD parts when optimizations are found.

The tasks will include:

• Assembly of digital microscopes

• Documentation for Quality control.

• Process improvement

• Update of CAD parts

  
  

The duration can be discussed, and the start date is flexible. Ideally you have a background within mechanical or industrial engineering.
