Operational, Logistics and Purchasing Manager

As the Operational, Logistics and Purchasing Manager you will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations and supply chain processes, including procurement and purchasing, while championing sustainability initiatives. You will work with cross-functional departments to meet our business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Key Responsibilities

-          Develop and implement operational, logistics and purchasing strategies that prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility.

-          Integrate sustainable practices into inventory management, sourcing, transportation, distribution and purchasing processes.

-          Lead sustainable procurements efforts, including responsible sourcing, vendor evaluation and ethical purchasing practices.

-          Manage inventory levels, demand forecasting and supplier relationships with sustainability in mind.

-          Monitor and control operational and purchasing costs while identifying sustainable cost saving opportunities.

-          Ensure compliance with industry sustainability regulations, ethical standards and safety protocols.

-          Analyze sustainability and purchasing data and generate reports to drive process improvements.

-          Maintain a customer-centric approach with a focus on sustainable practices to meet and exceed customer expectations.


Qualifications

-          Bachelor’s degree in business Administstration, Supply Chain Management or related field. (Master’s degree preferred)

-          Experience in logistics, operations, supply chain management and purchasing with a strong focus on sustainability.

-          Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.

-          Detail-oriented and problem-solving mentality.

-          Knowledge of industry sustainability regulations, etical standards and compliance.
