Mission:

The mission is to help and standardize the entertainment, concert and event industry. I have looked into using a  dynamic scalable business model that encourage companies to bring in the entire team freelancers for using the management tools and also attract other companies through our booking system when using sub suppliers. By generating a significant amount of business, we have the potential to create a marketplace disrupt and industry so companies can compete for their services such as venues, rental equipment, and workforce agencies. In the future, I envision HeepLink as the go-to platform for anyone planning a project like a movie, concert, event, catering staffing or construction etc.

Problem:

Recruiting freelancers for projects can be a time-consuming process. In fact, 78% of film producers consider this a major issue, with recruitment often taking 1-2 months. According to Oxford Research, 25% of commercial companies in Denmark have turned down job opportunities due to a lack of access to a talent pool.In the Entertainment industry, there are approximately 322K companies in the EU and US, with a 3.9M freelancers. Currently, there are a few expensive hard to use software solutions available for this kind of recruitment, but they are limited to individual companies and don’t tap into a larger talent pool. This leaves freelancers juggling communication on 3-6 different apps to secure jobs, increasing the risk of double bookings.

Solution:

My approach for a solution is making a SaaS tool that streamlines the companies search process, just like “Ainbnb”. Companies can then easily build their team of the profils they need and when they need them. HeepLink then provide a filtered search of available freelancers based on their registered calendar of availability. By bringing all freelancers onto one platform, we are expanding the network for both companies and freelancers. Our tool helps to standardized booking flows, ensuring quick and efficient team assembly for companies while providing freelancers with the opportunity to fill their calendars with work and increase their financial stability. The business model is that the companies pay flat rate subscription and the freelancers get the basic profil free. It’s should not cost anything to get a job but we will introduce a freelance pro subscription that will be priced so everyone can afford it.

Hey there! I’m Jeppe Bram Frostholm , a domain expert specializing in the film, concert, and events industries. With over 11 years of freelancing experience under my belt, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.I have served on the board of the union of filmworkers in Denmark, but I also had the honor of being the chairman for a year. Since January 2023, I’ve been working full-time on my startup called HeepLink. It’s all about solving the problem of recruiting freelancers. I’ve already validated my idea and even come pretty far with my prototype made with help from UI and UX designers.I’ve managed to gather a waiting list of 240 freelancers who are excited to be onboarded. I have also received a letter of interest from “the producers association of Denmark,” representing 170 production companies.

Im right now a part of a program with the start up accelerator with Antler, who Pitchbook in 2023 ranked the company was the most active seed stage venture capital firm globally. Im halfway through the program and there is an opportunity to pitch before the investment committee.
