We're now looking for a Café and Hospitality Manager to take full responsibility for our café business, the heart of our coworking space, as well as supporting the running of daily business operations on our campus.
Role Overview:
As the Café and Hospitality Manager at Talent Garden, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our members and guests. Your responsibilities will span across managing our café operations and ensuring the smooth running of daily business operations on our campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Café Operations:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the café, including scheduling and staff management.
Recruit, onboard, and train new staff and baristas to maintain high-quality service standards.
Coordinate with vendors and manage supply orders to ensure a well-stocked and diverse menu.
Introduce seasonal menu items and adapt offerings based on customer preferences.
Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in all café areas.
Foster positive relationships with members and guests to enhance their experience.
Hospitality & Maintenance:
Monitor equipment and supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
Handle member communication and address complaints effectively.
Assume responsibility for budgeting and expense monitoring.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Plan and oversee repair, installation, and cleaning activities.
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous work experience as a Café Manager or Barista.
Proficiency in operating professional coffee machines.
Flexibility to work early mornings and within café opening hours.
Strong customer service orientation.
Exceptional organizational skills and a keen sense of hygiene.
