JOB DESCRIPTION
As we are growing fast, we're looking for the next talent to join our amazing finance team. In the Student Finance Assistant role, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance and will get to work across teams to increase your finance skills and make an impact on the organization. You will learn how to do bookkeeping in Denmark and Germany and also how our Accounts Receivable process works. Once you master that, you will be ready to take on additional responsibilities.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
Financial operations including controlling, bookkeeping, and ad hoc accounting responsibilities in Denmark and Germany
Maintain and develop bookkeeping processes and systems
Participate in projects focusing on automation and optimization of processes and procedures
Drive expense management across teams
Set up and invoicing of LifeX customers
Take on cross-team administrative projects and tasks
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Start Immediately
Are currently enrolled in a relevant education within Finance, Economics, Controlling, Auditing or similar
Are a skilled user of Excel; analytical skills are highly desirable
Obsessive about details and a structured worker with a strong work ethic
Manage several tasks and priorities accordingly
Willing to embrace new technologies, which can improve the finance function
Have knowledge of ERP systems – or are curious to learn about them
Curiosity to learn and a doer mentality
Are proficient in English
