Looking to become CO-founder of a start-up with an experienced start-up person?

I am the former founder and co-founder of 2 start-ups: SpeechMiners and Ratoong. I am also a mentor at Innofounder and have mentored more than 200 start-ups throughout Europe over the last 8 years. I have a deep understanding of the fundraising part, of building a start-up (I mentor founders), and the do's and don’ts. You can see more on my profile on LinkedIn if you like.

I am now looking for a technical CO-founder who would like to join me in building a service for more than 130 million skiers around the globe! This new venture and your role will originally be set up under Ratoong. When the time comes, we might set up a new entity for the new venture but that all depends on what product will end up with.

Who are you?

What is most important is that you love the idea of becoming a CO-founder, being the one who builds the best platform. Female or male - doesn’t matter, you are equally welcome. What is important is that we share values; we are open to all people, no matter their skin color, religion, or whatever. You also need to love the idea of creating something super cool and that you want to build a company, where we are an equal opportunity employer, where we should have fun and freedom, and where responsibility goes hand in hand.

Your background

I have worked as a leader for more than 25 years. So you do not need a lot of work experience, but you need to be really good at the technical part and with the right attitude. If you want to be a leader down the line, it’s even better. Our platform will include AI and algorithms so having an understanding of AI is important. Also, it would be great if you understand the bigger setup - the architecture. But most important is your attitude - the right attitude and a good sense of humor and who loves to have fun at work. This is an opportunity if you would like to learn how to lead a team as I will help you with that aspect.

How will this work?

First, let's meet to discover if we are on common grounds - both when it comes to the business perspective and also on a personal level.

Work hours at this stage will maybe be a few hours a day. At some point, we will reach product market fit and have secured funding and then we will progress to full-time. This means you are most likely on your master's studies - or at least close to that. I am interested in finding a CO-founder with whom I will share 51% / 49%.
